Teams and hole sponsors are still needed to make this charitable tournament a success! For a $400 donation, any business or player can have a 4-person team in the scramble as well as a hole sponsor sign prominently displayed at the event. Lunch is included in this price, and is served at 11 a.m., with a shotgun start scheduled for noon.

Inductees into the 2008 Wiregrass Sports Hall of Fame are Larry Blakeney, Don Maestri, Tom Vickers, Alex Howell, Leon Davis, Yolanda Terry, Randy Butler, Gene Dews and Richmond Flowers, Jr. Many of the current year inductees and past inductees into the Hall of Fame are expected to play golf on June 6th, so it is a good opportunity to meet and talk with your favorite players and coaches from the Wiregrass.

If businesses, churches or community members wish to purchase a hole sponsorship, it is $100 to have your name, logo or message on a sign placed on the golf course. There are also a few more prestigious sponsorships available as of this time. Come join in our celebration of our 1^st Annual Unity Day.  This day has been designed to draw people in our local communities together.  With participation from all of the citizens of Barbour County, this can be one of the grandest days in Clayton’s history.  So bring your family and friends and enjoy a day of meeting new people listening to live music, entertainment and experiencing arts, crafts and food from many different venders.

Proceeds made from this event will be donated to the Parks and Recreations and Fire and Rescue Department of Clayton, Alabama.
