Many of you may be wondering why AfroDothan? Yes, Dothan is a city in Alabama and this is where the site all began, but it is also a biblical place and there is a verse we in Dothan like to quote from the bible which goes like this, "...for I heard them say, let us go to Dothan." Genesis 37:17. I hope a lot of people will be saying for I heard them say, let us go to AfroDothan.com. Then I often get this question,"Why AFRO?" My answer is why not? First of all, I am black and proud of it. I also like the hairstyle and the culture. When it comes to Television, Fashion and just about everything else; we Afro-Americans, African-Americans, Blacks, the founders of the Hip-Hop Generation (or whatever we go by) today have shaped it.
