VEI held a Meet and Greet for Congressmen Bobby Bright on Saturday October 9, 2010 between the hours of 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Mr. E. V. Salters office in Dothan, Alabama. The event was held to give the local community a chance to meet Congressman Bobby Bright and to build support for the up and coming election this November 2, 2010. Various organizations have already rallied behind Bobby Bright. They include T.O.P.S., A.D.C., and a local newspaper the Southeast Alabama Gazette owned by Mr. and Mrs. Ham. Congressman Bobby Bright assured everyone that inspite of the negative pobicity, he is doing what he feels is best for the people and will continue to work for us. He needs our support and the President needs us to support him. The event was catered by Covington's Seafood and Bar-B-Q.
