It was a wonderful day to march. March 7, 2010 Mackroyce Corbitt, Jr. and family went to the Bloody Sunday Bridge Crossing in Selma, Alabama at the Edmund Pettus Bridge. It was Mackroyce Corbitt, III first Bridge Crossing at 7 months old. There were thousands of people from all around the world coming to participate in this wonderful affair and celebration of history. The march was held to commemorate the events that took place on March 7, 1965 led by SNCC and SLCC along with Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King. The event is held annually and takes place over the course of a week. Vendors where there selling everything from food to sunglasses. There were also community leaders and the press at the event. It was a wonderful event. Some of the groups from Dothan included T.O.P.S. (The Ordinary People Society) and The Untouchable Motorcycle club.
